Plastazote foam is a closed cell, cross-linked polyethylene. It is designed to be heat-formed on a positive model or directly on a patient's foot. The foam is comfortable, lightweight and conformable. The constant dynamic molding of an orthotic with Platazote distributes pressure to the surrounding area of a sore spot or ulcer. Molding temperature is 285 degrees F (140 degrees C). Each sheet is 30 inches x 40 inches. Medium density.
