Nicorette Lozenges are an FDA approved over-the-counter medication, and is available without a prescription to anyone 18 or older. Relieves nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms by providing a temporary source of nicotine. Nicotine is released into the mouth as the lozenge dissolves over a 20-30 minute period. Designed as a 12-week program. Patients using lozenges should not smoke while on the program, and should stop using the lozenges after 12 weeks.
