Tubing is manufactured with a process that incorporates strong polyester braiding between extrusions of platinum-cured silicone. Durable, reinforced tubing with identifiable blue spiral is suited for increased pressure and/or high-temperature applications. Tubing meets USP Class VI and European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9 biocompatibility requirements. It is manufactured in an FDA registered medical device facility following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in accordance with the Quality Systems Regulation. Certified to meet ISO 13485 quality standards. Tubing may be sterilized by autoclave, ethylene oxide, or gamma radiation. Durometer hardness: Shore A, 65.
