Molded of polymethylpentene. Transparent, shatterproof. Graduates feature remarkable heat tolerance to 175 degrees C and excellent chemical resistance. Graduated in ounces and milliliters. Octagonal base provides stability. Autoclaving may alter accuracy. Smallest size has clear base; larger sizes have black base.
The 125, 250, 500 and 1000mL graduates conform to the volume and accuracy requirements of ASTM E1094. The 30mL graduate is also graduated in drams.
