Comfortable respirators are safe and cost-effective. No fit testing required. Positive pressure airflow has no breathing resistance and helps provide a higher level of respiratory protection. Wide-view lens provides better downward and peripheral vision. The lightweight headgear can be worn with facial hair, prescription eyewear, or safety glasses.
The L-500 series features a fully-adjustable, lightweight bumpcap. Loose-fitting faceseal attaches to the face shield for respiratory protection up to 25x PEL (permissible exposure limit). Select from three styles: face shield, welding shield, or face shield/welding shield combination. Face shield protects face and eyes from debris, provides respiratory protection when down, and flips up when not needed. Welding shield/face shield combination features an inner shield to help reduce particles hitting the face and eyes during applications where the welding shield might be lifted. The inner shield provides respiratory protection when welding shield is up and allows workers to sight the work-piece before lowering the welding shield into place. The L-700 series features a lightweight hard hat that is fully adjustable and meets ANSI Class I plus Class II side-impact requirements for industrial protective headgear. A loose-fitting faceseal attaches to the face shield to provide respiratory protection up to 25x PEL. Select face shield, welding shield, or face shield/welding shield combination. The L-900 series features a helmet that meets ANSI Class I plus Class II side-impact requirements for industrial protective headgear. Model 53310-112 comes with a Tyvek neck shroud, and model 53310-114 comes with a Nomex neck shroud. Select face shield or face shield/welding shield combination. The L-900 series meets CAN/CSA Z94.1-92, Class G. Both powered and supplied air require breathing hose 67100-608. Belt-mounted assembly for powered air supply system 56221-400 includes motor/blower, battery pack, charger, flow meter, power cord, blower plugs, and web belt. Cartridges are ordered separately.
Supplied air is provided through either a high- or low-pressure assembly. The Vortex cooling assembly lets the worker regulate airflow and cool air by as much as 28 degrees C (50 degrees F). The Vortemp heating assembly lets the worker regulate airflow and warm air by as much as 28 degrees C (50 degrees F). The air regulating valve assembly allows the worker to regulate airflow to the headgear. The low-pressure assembly also regulates the airflow to the headgear.
